With a heavy heart but in reflection of a long fulfilled 91 years of purpose, I mourn the passing of His Royal Majesty, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, the revered Awujale of Ijebuland. Oba Adetona served our dear nation for over six decades with commitment and his legacy will forever live on. While I was away, I was also informed about the sad news of the passing of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, Ige Olakulehin 1 at the age of 90. Oba Owolabi Olakulehin showed unity and strength to Ibadanland and will be remembered as a man of peace. I pray that their souls rest in perfect peace and may their legacies continue to shine as a guiding light for generations. -PO
