Yesterday, I joined my dear brother @OlumideAkpata, his family and friends in Benin, Edo State, for the funeral service of their beloved father, Dr. Henry Omorogieva Akpata. Dr. Akpata was a committed medical professional who invested in his community. His legacy of compassion and excellence will continue to inspire us all. May God Almighty, who called him to his glory, grant him eternal rest and grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss. I also extended my condolences to the family of the former Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Uyi Igbe, as they laid to rest their cherished mother, Mrs. Regina Omorose Igbe, in Benin. Her life was a testament to grace and dedication to family. May God in His infinite mercy, comfort her family and grant her eternal rest. -PO
