I am heartbroken by reports of the loss of 21 persons mostly school children of Presentation Nursery and Primary School in a ghastly accident in Mgbowo, Agwu LGA of Enugu state.

It is evident that our enemies have infiltrated peaceful #EndSARS protests, and they are now using it to kill and harm innocent people, destroy public assets and properties of fellow Nigerians.

The killing of peaceful protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate and other parts of the country yesterday is condemnable. It should not have happened.

On this day of Ecumenical International prayer for peace with the theme "No one is saved alone", I call on all Christians in Nigeria to pray for peace and progress of Nigeria, and also for the care of the youths and less privileged in our country. -PO

I read with happiness, news of the planned return of schools to the missionaries by the Edo State Governor. I commend the move and encourage others to follow suit. I'll continue to support all moves towards the improvement of education in our dear country. -PO

As commendable as the ban on further roadblocks and stop-and-search by FSARS is, Nigerians need assurances that this is not the same steps they've taken annually that has achieved nothing.

The tragic accident in Akaeze-Ukwu community in Ivo LGA of Ebonyi in which over 22 persons died, and the fuel tanker explosion in Lokoja that led to the loss of 23 lives is sad and heartbreaking.
